Our take
Berlin-based Raus provides city dwellers with stylish nature retreats in the form of remote, chic micro cabins stationed outside of major cities throughout Germany and Austria. The relatively young company was founded in 2021 and has since established several cabins with varying on-grid to off capabilities.
In a collaboration with architect Sigurd Larson, the Model II cabin provides renters with a modern escape consisting of a black exterior and interior, this is to minimise reflections against the windows while inside, immersing guests into the environment in a way they’ve never experienced before.
With nature immersion at its heart, Raus’ platform goes beyond simply booking cabins by providing a digital booking journey that includes experiences such as hikes, farm visits, guided meditations, and food packages from regional farm shops. The company is investing in accelerated development of its platform and overall expansion.
