Our take

While businesses are becoming more and more reliant on customer data, it can be difficult to make sense of, or derive value from, large and dispersed pools of information. This is where RudderStack comes in, presenting a platform for data engineers and scientists to build smarter customer data pipelines, therefore optimizing the delivery of data-led results.

RudderStack emphasizes that it is built specifically for data teams, with the team behind it having worked in data engineering and science roles themselves. Because of this, the platform addresses many pain-points that other solutions may not - such as handling every piece of data from every source, as well as syncing them with tools already in a team's stack.

With significant funding at its back, the company is moving to accelerate growth and increase the reach of its solutions. It has partnered with Iterable, a cross-channel marketing platform, to create integrations that enable clients to leverage customer data to make "deeper connections". It has also achieved HIPAA compliance, which means it can now help healthcare companies to manage and protect customer data.
