SH:24's mission is to improve access to sexual health services through a more holistic, user-centred service, designed to be flexible around the needs of users, encouraging greater autonomy, both in making decisions about their care and in navigating their preferred route through services.

Shame and stigma have long been barriers to the proper care for sexual health, from testing through to treatment. Simply put, too many people are too embarrassed to get tested or collect medication in person.
SH:24 works in partnership with the UK National Health Services to deliver sexual and reproductive health services, from testing and treatment for a range of STIs, to everyday and emergency contraceptives. Not only does this guarantee confidentiality, the fact that in-person visits are negated also increases access across the population. Better yet, the fact that SH:24 is a not-for-profit company means that it's free – a crucial factor.
Though founded in 2013, it’s still slowly rolling out its services across the UK and Ireland, with differing services available in different areas. The fact that it’s tied to the public sector could be a key factor here, with NHS funding issues well documented. However, SH:24 also owns a number of paid sexual health services brands, including Fettle Health, which may well prove extremely valuable moving forward.
