Our take

The ready-meal market has typically been a “one-size-fits-all” space, however, the short shelf life of fresh food delivery coupled with the small portion sizes of frozen food delivery has proven this isn’t actually the case. STOCKED enables consumers to choose their own portion sizes of its high-quality, chef-cooked meals.

With at least half the menu being plant-based, the company’s protein-packed, sauce-based meals are frozen into Blocks. Through their partnership with on-demand delivery platform Zapp, STOCKED has been able to reach more customers and deliver meals quickly.

Looking forward, the company is focused on expanding its membership base (called the Blockparty) to over 6,000 strong over the next few years. The company is growing its workforce and has raised funding to fuel its expansion and future product releases. STOCKED seems well set to change the ready-meal space.
