To help folks enjoy the research, thinking and writing process more than they've ever experienced.
Multifunctional “mind mapping” and organisational tools are as popular as ever, with apps such as Slack and Notion providing both businesses and individuals with ways to organise and brainstorm their projects. Scrintal is vying for a place at the table with its networked note-taking and mind-mapping app that markets itself as if “Miro and Obsidian had a baby”.
Based out of Stockholm, Scrintal has secured significant funding for its striking visual canvas and document-making hybrid. The funds will be used to launch its app and rocket boost its product development and marketing.
The latter will be important to Scrintal moving forward. With many similar apps already popular with teams and individuals, Scrintal will have to really carve out its niche. As it stands, the company is marketing itself to researchers and visually-minded creatives, and only time will tell if this is enough to help them stand out from the crowded note-taking app sector.
