Company mission

To equip people to make sense of MS as soon as possible after diagnosis.

Our take

Shift.ms is a social network for people with multiple sclerosis. It's an independent and free service that enables recently diagnosed people to make sense of MS through a supportive online community, guides and films that tell compelling stories and connect MSers with world-leading experts.

Founded by CEO George Pepper, who lives with MS and was inspired to create Shift.ms for others with the condition, the company strongly believes in the value of "information from experience." Shift.ms wants to ensure that its users know they don't have to give up on ambitions, and therefore provides the resources they need to rethink instead how to achieve them.

It's a valuable proposition, with the ability to reduce isolation, anxiety and depression after diagnosis while also supporting people to make positive choices about their health and the future. With over 60,000 members across the globe, Shift.ms's impact is already clear, and we look forward to seeing it develop into the future.
