Our take

Simundia was one of the first companies in France to offer businesses remote learning workshops for individual staff members with a particular focus on soft skills. By leveraging its own algorithm, Simundia’s platform is able to pair employees with the right coach according to personal needs and time constraints.

The company has made stellar progress since its 2017 inception, winning business from the likes of Chanel, Sanofi and Paco Rabanne. Simundia is operating in a burgeoning market, with major investment being poured into similar companies like BetterUp, Chorus, and Guru in recent years. In Europe, German company CoachHub has also acquired one of Simundia’s competitors, MooveOne.

The market is far from oversaturated though, and Simundia itself has attracted the attention of AXA Venture Partners and Educapital. After its latest funding boost, it is aiming to establish itself as the continent's leader by expanding its workforce and further personalising its services.
