Our take
London-founded Skyports is the industry leading enabler of Advanced Air Mobility that builds and operates landing infrastructure for the electric air taxi revolution, as well as having a drone services divisions.
Skyports is one of many companies developing technology to transport products and people through the skies in small, electric aircraft. It sets itself apart by being ahead of the curve with technology development, regulation and operational experience, making it a reputable name for businesses. As an example, it is developing the first commercial vertiport in Europe, which is scheduled to launch at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The company closed a round of series C funding in 2024 to accelerate its work with the world’s leading electric air taxi manufacturers and operators, and will bring its infrastructure to key launch markets. These include an air taxi service in Dubai set to launch in 2026 as well as offshore energy asset delivery and water quality monitoring services.
