To let developers focus on the project at hand - not cloud infrastructure.
Developers working in machine learning quickly run into the problem of infrastructure - in order to build a machine learning application developers usually need to set up a web server, a versioning system and monitoring mechanism for their model by hand. Slai exists to remove this busywork by providing a serverless platform for machine learning projects. With the infrastructure covered developer teams can focus on developing instead of setup.
Slai is currently being used by dozens of teams and has a large community of developers building machine learning apps on the platform. Its close relationship with its customers and community is one of Slai's major strengths in this market - they work together in a communal slack channel - and its responsiveness to its customers' needs has helped it position itself as a vital piece of infrastructure for machine learning development.
Slai recently completed a seed funding round led by Tiger Global. It will use this investment to hire on new talent, develop its product and scale its infrastructure. If it can continue to build on its early successes it will be well on the way to achieving its ambitious goal of becoming a GitHub for machine learning.
