Our take
A rise in cybercrime means computer security is more important than ever, but despite innovations in computing the obstacle remains complex. Enterprise’s IT stacks now consist of a combination of standard applications, software services, and API tools, and maintaining security whilst scaling becomes time-consuming and complex to manage.
StackHawk develops software services that autonomously detect and fix security bugs within an enterprise's pipeline. The services include automatic detection of threats across apps, APIs, and other areas of an IT stack, in addition to providing automated tests and chaos engineering in order to minimize the amount of work required for manual maintenance.
Many software developers are providing automated virus testing and chaos engineering for software, but StackHawk is remaining ahead of the game by applying this process to an entire enterprise pipeline. With good funding at its back, the company maintains a strong position in the market and continues to invest in further product development.
