The hospitality sector is crowded with software solutions to handle its inventory, staffing, reservations and other management systems, but the sheer number of these systems means that they are prone to incompatibility with one another and becoming outdated. Superb seeks to solve this problem with its Guest Experience Management software, which integrates all restaurant systems into a single package, while collecting data from guests and the business.
Though the market has a number of startups seeking to solve problems in the restaurant sector, Superb sets itself apart by focussing on analytics. It provides data-driven predictions from the likelihood of no-shows based on the weather to information as granular as whether a particular diner has reserved at multiple restaurants. As restaurants seek to both reduce food waste and cut down on overheads, this data is clearly valued.
With good funding at its back, the company has been moving to strengthen its position in the Nordic market, as well as further expand internationally. The first focus of this expansion has been the UK, where Superb began operating early in 2022, beginning with restaurants in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
