Our take
With carbon offset credits having come under heavy scrutiny over the 2020s, 2018-founded SustainCERT has become more vital a company than ever, acting as flagbearer for the “race to the top” of corporate bodies trying to achieve the targets of the Paris Agreement 2030 Agenda. Leveraging verification technology and data analysis to help companies find and achieve more sustainable ways to hit net-zero targets, SustainCERT wants to make carbon credits and environmental impact claims more honest and effective.
With thousands of energy projects supported by SustainCERT and as a founding partner of the Value Change Initiative, the company is in a strong position to influence the acceleration of corporate net zero. Having been awarded substantial funding in 2021, SustainCERT has created an effective “gold rush” for companies to reduce their carbon footprints by creating token incentives through its carbon market digital verification platform.
This scalable, accessible, and affordable platform is a first for the industry and proves SustainCERT’s crucial role in corporate carbon reduction.
