Based on the belief that steps are valuable because they make people healthier and the planet greener, Sweatcoin aims to empower the human race to take more steps, kickstarting active lifestyles one step at a time.
The sweatcoins you gain from your steps can be used to buy goods, services, and experiences from shoes and yoga classes to iPhones and audiobooks. Sweatcoin aims to make sweatcoins a universally accepted payment method, getting their value from partner brands, governments, and insurers.
The British Journal of Sports Medicine found that Sweatcoin users have a sustained uplift of 20% in their step count over 6 months of use. Sweatcoin has teamed up with the NHS, and Digital Health London as well as establishing over 600 partnerships.
