Our take
Today, the EV charging ecosystem is facing numerous problems aside from insufficient charging infrastructure, which leave the end consumer stranded. Among them are the lack of reliability, real-time point-of-interest data, data security and user-friendliness.
Switch is attempting to solve this and support the thriving e-mobility industry through innovative B2B embedded and cloud-based software solutions for manufacturers and operators of EV charging stations, to guarantee a seamless charging experience for the end user. It has created JOSEV, a flexible Joint Operating System for EV chargers and launched a crowdfunding campaign aimed at companies manufacturing charging stations to help launch their product.
The company was founded by an e-mobility expert with over a decade experience in the field, having co-authored the ISO 15118 and related international standards for charging EVs. The experienced team aims to educate the EV community through online courses, e-books and consultancy alongside their core product.
