Our take
Maintaining momentum in a fast-moving software development landscape requires engineers to work fast. However, ensuring that security, privacy and compliance is handled effectively massively reduces the rate at which engineers can develop software.
Sym provides a software development kit that aims to make integration of security and privacy workflows faster and simpler. The company provides a developer-centric toolbox containing a variety of core tools that users can mix and match to their specific needs. The SDK is coded in Python and allows users to create security, privacy and compliance workflows with ease.
The toolkit includes chunks of pre-written code and templates which are designed to be easily customizable for the engineer using it, allowing for a flexible but easily accessible approach to secure coding.
