Company mission

To create timeless, high-quality everyday staples that stand out from the rest - while standing the test of time.

Our take

T.M.Lewin is one of Britain's most iconic menswear brands, with a history stretching back to the 1800s. Founded by Thomas Mayes Lewin (who is credited with inventing the button-up shirt), the brand quickly gained a loyal following among London's well-dressed gentlemen. From designing the first "coat shirt" that could be worn without messing up your hair, to supplying uniforms during World War I, T.M.Lewin has always had a knack for innovation and style.

Like many retailers, T.M.Lewin took a hit during the pandemic and made the decision to shut all its stores, but now, it's making a comeback. After going online-only for a few years, the brand is now heading back to the high street. Following the success of its City of London store and the return to office life, it's planning to open more locations in key business hubs like Manchester and Edinburgh. And with its suits flying off the shelves and a renewed focus on quality, this return to physical stores could give T.M.Lewin the boost it needs to reconnect with loyal customers and introduce new generations to its legacy brand.
