To eliminate human error in healthcare - TORTUS AI believes clinicians co-working with an AI in 5 years time will eliminate most if not all of the every day mistakes in medicines that get people killed, so it is building that system today to save lives.
50% female employees
It is no secret that the healthcare system has been slow to adopt many of the modern technologies prevalent across other industries, with clinicians still spending heaps of their time on manual administrative tasks that could be better spend on patient care.
TORTUS AI is setting out to revolutionise the way health professionals work, with a voice-controlled AI "co-pilot" capable of clinical language tasks such as notes summarisation and writing letters. The company states that prototypes of this solution, named OSLER (Operating System Leverage in Electronic Records), sped up clinics by 60% - with doctors able to spend 100% of their time on patients and 0% on paperwork.
TORTUS AI has already made good progress in the space, having piloted the prototype OSLER with dozens of physicians, signed NDAs with three EHR companies in the UK and Canada, and secured two co-development partnership hospitals. With such momentum, the company has a heap of potential, and is certainly one to watch as it further develops.

Every day we're working directly with clinicians listening to their pain points, and building software with the aim to fix this. Doctors we work closely regularly visit the office and it reminds you why you're doing what you're doing. You get the oppotunity to sit in on their clinics to see first hand why our mission matters
