TP24

Even though it is remote, I feel like the TP24 team maintains a super supportive and enthusiastic atmosphere. Colleagues consistently go out of their way to offer help and support. They are patient and understanding taking the time to address questions and provide guidance through slack, git or discord. Their eagerness to assist me when I need help makes the people at TP24 stand out among remote workplaces that I have worked in. That being said, it’s not always just about work. I feel like the team genuinely enjoy interacting with one another and there always is space for discussion whether that is lighthearted jokes or more personal topics. It’s a great balance between professionalism and maintaining a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

They have been super encouraging and helpful, and I have been given space to learn, make mistakes and improve. This understanding creates a supportive atmosphere where I feel comfortable taking risks and learning from them. While it was quite a fast start for me, I have learnt a lot in a short space of time. Colleagues often share best practices and resources and I feel like the team is actively seeking ways to improve. We’re involved in everything from the tech design process, to user feedback and demonstrations, so we get a wider understanding of the impact our product is having.

Opinions are valued and actively sought out and it feels like we always know the direction the product is going in and can contribute to that. Also, they promote a no-blame culture so the focus is on learning and improvement rather than assigning blame. They know the importance of work-life balance too and are flexible with life’s commitments. For example a family member had an unplanned hospital trip and they were very understanding. It's nice to be treated well and mutual respect is obviously valued.
