That said, because the company is developing an entirely new asset class market, progress is accelerated, and competition may have a chance to overtake.

Promising for Talos was the interest of prominent investors, including PayPal and Fidelity, during their Series A and B funding rounds. The funds were used to create an institutional-grade service that would help shape and spearhead this developing market. More recently, the company has formed several significant partnerships, including with BlackRock, and acquired D3X Systems, the integration of which will enable its clients to design, validate, implement, and manage highly customised portfolios.
