Our take
As the transition to greener transport continues, consumer interest in bicycles is increasing; but, as with many seemingly environmentally conscious industries, the manufacture of bikes is not necessarily a sustainable practice. Temple Cycles is a small manufacturer that produces high quality bikes for home delivery, built with timelessness and sustainability in mind.
Founded in 2015, Temple Cycles sells a range of bikes and accessories. The vehicles are hand-assembled in-house from quality components, by master bike builders. Although the company focusses on online sales, customers can also visit stores to try out bikes, appealing to different types of consumers.
Temple Cycles has experienced promising growth since it was founded, and recently branched out into selling electric bikes. The company is seeking to expand operations, and has future goals to develop its electric bike range, including possible expansions into e-cargo and e-mountain bikes.
