Our take
A common part of not being able to purchase a vehicle is the inability to pay the entire cost upfront and that leads to the minefield of loans, interest rates that nobody wants to have to deal with. Tenet lowers monthly payments with its financing scheme.
Alongside the positive environmental impact, Tenet is trying to enforce the message that driving electric is cheaper than driving gas. The finance platform hosts a very easy-to-use app where consumers can track savings and the impact they’re having on the planet. API tech finesses the experience for its customers when applying for a loan, making it quick and pain-free. Working only with ESG / sustainability-focused investors, Tenet stays true to its values.
Founded in 2021 and off to a successful start with 2 funding rounds landing a substantial figure for Tenet. Some would argue not having a car would have the most environmental impact and so there is cause for pushback on their goals.
