Our take
The web of laws and regulations regarding data privacy has become increasingly complex in the last few years, and this has become difficult for developers to navigate.
TerraTrue provides a data privacy platform that helps automate compliance within software development processes, as opposed to after the digital product has been developed. Programmers using the platform will receive real-time flags regarding local and international data laws, allowing them to make decisions regarding the software architecture when creating or updating a product.
The arrival of data regulations such as Europe's GDPR has been tackled by many startups with the aim of automating workflows within compliance teams. However, TerraTrue has recognized that by integrating this automation directly into software developers toolkits, the amount of work required by compliance teams will be dramatically reduced.
