With HR departments thrown into upheaval over drastic changes in employment and hiring practices over recent years, the sector has been ripe for disruption. One of the emerging trends we’re seeing is pre-employment screening tests, which both ensure that new hires have the relevant skills, and that good hires aren’t passed over in favour of someone with a snappier CV.
TestGorilla is a company riding this wave, with software offering custom or pre-set tests for skills, personality, and specialisms. The trend is set only to grow, too, when you consider the added pressure companies are now under to eradicate bias from their hiring practices. TestGorilla has had a strong start, already attracting 10,000+ customers including H&M, Publicis, Sony and Oracle.
Having raised considerable Series A funding, the company is focused on expanding its library of screening tests, hiring more talent, and building more integrations with the other tools typically used by those who run hiring processes.

One of the selling points of our application is that it provides for a bias-free environment to hiring. Obviously we couldn't be an exception and we do thrive do do our internal hiring focused on skills rather than the gender, race, previous experience or country. We have some great examples of people that were in completely different areas and got their dream job based on their skills.

All of our work is carefully thought out to be as inclusive as possible so everyone can apply and try to get their dream job.
