Our take
Today if you want to learn online, your options are stressful and structured education, or passive edutainment. Further, over 200 million people learn online but only 3% finish a course, showing there is huge demand but the current platforms don’t serve most people’s needs. The Garden was created to change this.
The company offers a platform where people can come together with world experts and each other to share knowledge and ideas through live and on-demand talks, developing a shared love of learning. The Garden's ultimate aim is to foster a dynamic, interactive learning environment.
The company received early backing from a top VC fund and a global group of strategic angels. It appears to have seen a strong early growth, having amassed over 11,000 members within seven months of its beta launch. With plans to continue offering a steady stream of talks and the number of members projected to increase, The Garden has the potential to see long-term success.
