Our take
With a property portfolio across the Mediterranean of Italy, France and Greece, The Thinking Traveller is an online travel booker that works intimately with local conservation groups and homeowners to build immersive and boutique holiday experiences for its clients. Founded in 2002, the company aims to connect its clients with the areas they are staying in, thus elevating the luxury holiday experience.
In 2023, The Thinking Traveller became the first luxury villa rental company to gain B Corp status due to its work to protect and uplift the areas it operates within. Co-founder Rosella Beaugie has, for instance, set up the Sicily Environment Fund and other restoration projects across Europe.
The message of The Thinking Traveller is clear - holidaymakers needn’t be segregated from the areas where they are travelling. The boutique holiday agency helps its customers feel connected to the beautiful areas and villas it books, leading to deserved recognition from the likes of Conde Nast Travel, which will aid The Thinking Travellers' growth.
