Our take

With the allure of time and money saves, the use of APIs in app development is growing, but so are API threats. ThreatX provides an API protection platform with multi-layered detection, which is capable of safeguarding APIs from any and all types of threat.

APIs are now commonly used, and can enable access to sensitive information and functions. Prior security methods may not provide a comprehensive view of attack surfaces, but ThreatX’s platform is built for this purpose. It supplies information in real-time, and the company provides 24/7 managed services for security teams.

ThreatX has recently raised $30m in Series B funding. The funds are set to scale global sales and expand marketing, as well as hiring into engineering, sales and marketing teams.
