Our take

Ticket Tailor is a ticketing platform that offers event organisers a simple way to manage event registration and sell tickets online. The platform includes features beyond ticket selling, for example allowing ticket sellers to customise the buying experience to match their website, accept payments directly to their account, and own their customer data.

As opposed to other similar platforms, Ticket Tailor doesn’t take a percentage of the ticket price. Instead, it offers flexible payment plans with no contracts. Its commitment to support event creators is shown by its free offering for free events, and its deals that give 50% off for charities, and 20% off for B-corps and PTAs.

Ticket Tailor prides itself on being completely independent, with no investors, and boasts B Corp certification since May 2022. Since launch, it has helped promoters and venues sell millions of tickets across the globe, being used by thousands of event organisers all around the world.

Benefits

  • Annual profit share: If we hit our growth goals, we distribute 20% of our profits to employees annually. This is split among the team based on the length of time at the company (but weighted heavily to the current year).
  • 25 days holiday & year end closure: A rested team is a successful team - we respect our evenings and weekends, and for full-time employees we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays and 3 days end-of-year closure) which we encourage everyone to use. This allowance is pro-rata for part-time team members.
  • Work from anywhere allowance: We offer everyone a up to a 3-week period each year where you can work remotely from any location.
  • Trust: Micro-management is not our style, we encourage self-led working and celebrate autonomous thinking.
  • Flexible working policy: Work should fit around life as much as possible, we allow 2-3 working days from home a week and operate a core working hours policy, so you can come in a bit later or leave earlier depending on your needs.
  • Regular social & team events: Once a quarter we celebrate our successes as a team and every year we organise a short team trip to volunteer with our charity partners.
  • £500 annual learning budget: No one is a self-made expert, we invest in our team with an annual learning budget of £500 and love to share what we’re learning in our weekly team highlights meeting.
  • £385 self care allowance & private healthcare: We want our team to look after themselves, so we offer an annual wellness allowance of £385 (for keeping fit, massages, mindfulness etc), as well as private healthcare which includes access to therapy, dental and optical care.

Company values

  • Keep it simple - We work hard to keep everything simple, so you have more time for the important things
  • Focused on impact - We’re a small team, so we spend our time wisely. Everything we do aims to maximise impact
  • Driven by feedback - Good or bad, we value all feedback, so that we can continue to improve your experience
  • Human after all - We are people, not robots! We work best when we’re relaxed and happy, and we know you do too
