Ticket Tailor

There are a lot of interesting challenges that come with a ticketing platform, specifically I really enjoy solving scaling issues that come with high traffic events.

There are a lot of opportunities to learn on the job, we have dedicated days where you have the freedom to work on whatever you like which is a really nice opportunity to learn new tech or try something out. I've made use of the education budget to get AWS certified. We also have a weekly book club on Friday afternoons to learn new things, currently we're reading "High performance MySQL"

One of my favourite things about working at Ticket Tailor is seeing all the direct feedback from our customers and how things you have worked on have really helped them. Feedback is regularly shared in Slack and our weekly highlights meeting.

The entire culture at Ticket Tailor is like nowhere i've worked before - there's a relaxed yet focussed atmosphere, that encourages learning and development, as well as productivity. The team is really welcoming and everyone genuinely cares about one another and the things they're working on - and the small team size and flat hierarchy means you can easily have conversations with people at all levels.
