Our take
For many teachers, ensuring no student gets left behind can be difficult and challenging to ensure. TutorTap helps with this problem by matching students with specialized tutors in order to consolidate their classwork.
TutorTap was founded by two former school governors who identified key challenges and opportunities in today's education system. This has helped the company to differentiate itself in the crowded education market. Instead of competing with teachers, TutorTap works closely alongside them. The company also carefully selects and vets its tutors, most of whom are university students or recent graduates.
The demand for tuition has risen dramatically in recent years, and companies like TutorTap stand to gain. Its main challenge will be to compete effectively with similar companies, including MyTutor and Tutorfair.
