Covid-19 has permanently changed the NHS and social care, bringing about rapid transformation at a time of serious professional challenge. This has caused a rise in companies looking to support new, efficient ways of working to address the treatment backlog and workforce pressure.
Ufonia is one of these companies. They have developed "Dora" which replaces routine patient healthcare interactions with an autonomous clinical assistant. Their product is particularly attractive to healthcare workers as it is accessible, scalable, and enables staff to work on higher value care rather than repetitive tasks.
The company are growing quickly and have enterprise contracts to deploy across multiple NHS hospitals. Movinig forwards, Ufonia will be focused on their expansion into the US and expanding the use of Dora across multiple clinical specialties.
