Our take
Utmost’s Vendor Management System (VMS) is built for customers of Workday – one of the major players in the enterprise SaaS software space. It’s become popular with Workday users for its all-in-one extended workforce management capabilities, which allow businesses to more easily deal with freelancers and contractors.
With the freelance industry having doubled in size in the last decade, Utmost is providing a much needed solution that makes it far easier for companies to source, onboard, manage and offboard talent. This is key as existing VMS offerings tend to focus on sourcing workers from traditional staffing companies, which limits the pool of available talent.
Utmost further differentiate themselves with their compatibility with Workday. Other VMS alternatives do not have this option, meaning many of their customers have to use Workday for most their HR needs, and then need a whole other system for booking temporary workers. Utmost's unique approach enables companies to have more consistent and transparent processes.
