Our take

Launched in 2019, London-based Veremark is a background screening and reference checking platform, offering an automated platform for businesses to verify employee credentials.

Early seed funding saw the company expand within the pre-employment screening market. It developed an API offering so that other service providers could plug Veremark’s verification engine into their service. This helps companies expand their reach and presence beyond the confines of their own four walls.

Veremark is an exciting business to watch grow, with further VC backing coming n 2024 led by Stage 2 Capital. This will enable its penetration of new global markets, whilst it continues to develop its people compliance and digital credentials platform to further its mission of eliminating CV fraud.
