While Vevo once sought to reduce its reliance on YouTube, in 2018, the company made the decision to shut down ts consumer website and remove its standalone mobile app. Today, it primarily distributes content via YouTube, with its app available on select DVRs, smart TVs, and gaming consoles.

This was a smart move for the company, reflecting necessary adaptation to the evolving digital landscape and ultimately positions Vevo for continued growth.
