To take emerging technologies like blockchain and package them in a creative and user-friendly solution that makes them usable for everyone.
While in the past, games developers have seen their player base simply as customers, NFTs and cryptocurrency have changed that. Now games can reward players for their invested time and effort. However, this transition has been difficult, and gamers haven't always been pleased with the way blockchain tech has been implemented. Virtually Human Studio seeks to change this with engaging games built with blockchain technology at the core.
Its flagship program is Zed Run, a horse racing game where instead of controlling a racer the player is able to own the horses as NFTs, making money when their stable wins races. The horses can also be traded and sold like any other NFT as the player owns them. This has been met with enthusiasm mostly from within the crypto community, as all the NFTs created by the company regularly sell out, the races which run 24/7 have been oversubscribed, and Virtually Human has been able to successfully launch a second Web3-based offering off the back of its first game's success.
Virtually Human Studio is using recent funding raised to expand its engineering team and further develop its gaming portfolio, including the release of a new play-to-earn game. If it is able to keep its community engaged through the current downturn in crypto and NFT markets it stands a good chance of building a significant business in the NFT gaming sector.
