Augmented reality and 3D virtual tours became a hot topic in the real estate industry in recent years, as they can speed up the sales process, and perhaps more importantly, allow prospective buyers to digitally renovate and reimagine spaces ahead of purchase.
Virtuance has been around since 2010, and initially focused on high quality real estate photography in the Denver area. However its move into 3D tours has allowed it to expand across the country and land exclusive partnerships with the likes of RE/MAX, CBRE, and Magnolia Realty.
The company was acquired in early 2022 by Diakrit, one of the world’s biggest real estate marketing companies. Rather than spelling the end of an era at Virtuance, the leadership teams at both brands are as they were. This suggests that the pair are planning to leverage each other’s strengths to expand into adjacent markets and, potentially, new territories.
