Our take
WINT, short for “Water Intelligence” is a software platform that helps organizations to save water and reduce consumption through artificial intelligence. When a building or organization’s water supply experiences a leak, WINT uses artificial intelligence and pattern matching to detect problems and suggest solutions for fixes.
Not only does WINT act as a practical tool, but as a database too, implementing machine learning to glean solutions from a back catalog of water systems. A client’s water system is added to this database and therefore helps improve WINT’s responses as the technology matures. Insights from this cycle help WINT customers save 25% on their water, with massive benefits to industries like construction and insurance broking.
WINT were 2022 recipients of funding from the BOOST Accelerator Programme started by Suffolk Technologies, a fund designed to address the lack of tech innovation within construction industries. With further funding from Insight Partners, it’s clear that WINT’s IoT solution to water waste is a trailblazing tool that is turning heads.
