Our take
Founded in 2019, Wabi's key product is Wabi2b, a marketplace that connects retailers with wholesalers, giving them the option to digitize their business. This enables all wholesalers and distributors to sell directly to the retail channel. Today, Wabi2b is focused on small shops and businesses.
They are a global startup founded by the Coca-Cola ecosystem; and thanks to the relationship established, have been able to expand in a faster and more dynamic way, expanding to the USA, Asia and Africa.
With crypto and blockchain growing fast in South American regions, the appetite for a more digitized consumer marketplace is rapidly increasing too. Backed by experienced founders, funding and set within a growing market, Wabi is well set to make an impact in the space.
