The global annual watch market is estimated at roughly €50bn, and the pre-owned portion of this is growing year on year.

Watchfinder buy and sell watches, authenticating and servicing them, with the approval of Switzerland’s major brands, and take responsibility for shipping. They operate both as an online and offline business in a complementary, growing and still relatively unstructured segment of the industry.

They are owned by the fashion group Richemont, whose acquisition of the company signalled to the industry that watch resale represents a growing opportunity in the market. This is especially true as Watchfinder’s pivotal role within the circular economy continues to flourish as well as its expansion into European markets both physically and digitally.
