To provide independence, confidence, and freedom of travel to millions of blind and visually impaired people.
Modern cities are difficult to navigate, especially for people with disabilities. Waymap aims to solve this problem by creating a personal navigation app that is specially designed to help individuals with disabilities navigate both indoor and outdoor spaces.
The app distinguishes itself by not relying on GPS but instead using its proprietary technology to identify the precise location of the user and their direction. The app has been designed to function without signal and to provide navigation anywhere as the buildings do not need a special infrastructure for the app to work.
Waymap has been established to help people with disabilities, but due to the accuracy of their technology and the success of their app, they now aim to focus on appealing to a larger target audience, including people without disabilities.
