To keep people connected in disconnected spaces
Feeling safe during busy night time events is harder than ever. This is especially scary in large venues, where mobile devices aren't able to receive a reliable signal, if any at all. This leaves people unable to reach their friends if they get lost, or end up in a potentially dangerous situation.
Enter Where You At, an app designed to connect you to your friends via Bluetooth, meaning it works even when your device has no signal or is offline. It uses Bluetooth 'beacons' and infrastructure implemented at each venue. This combined with floor plans allows Where You At to create accurate maps for customers to use.
It is focused on empowering people to 'live in the moment' with the ability to always be findable. Whilst still at the beginning of its journey, the app is set to make a real, positive impact towards making nightlife safer for everyone.
