Company mission

Built on the belief that art has the power to enrich people's lives.

Our take

Founded in 1993 by fine art dealer Jay Jopling, the White Cube is one of the most prolific contemporary art galleries in the world, with five branches globally. Spanning Korea, Hong Kong, Paris and London, the gallery has incubated prominent contemporary artists, such as Tracy Emin and Damien Hirst.

Having expanded out of London in 2012, the White Cube has garnered international attention through permanent and temporary galleries across the world, whilst championing the works of equally global artists.

Its growth as an institution attracted the attention of HMRC, which fined the White Cube, amongst many other leading art bodies, for failing to comply with money laundering regulations. Despite this, the gallery continues to expand its presence worldwide and will no doubt continue to thrive thanks to its diverse and powerful curation.
