To encourage a love for maths in every student by teaching them in their way.
Our take
Whilst between jobs, Wonders of Maths’ Founder began informally helping his daughter with maths homework, and in the process, uncovered a glaring gap in the market for truly engaging maths tutoring. To fully engage a student, the subject must be taught in a way that interests and stimulates them, so Wonders of Maths was launched to help children find their “in” with the subject.
The personalised and adaptable approach to Maths tutoring offered by Wonders of Maths led to its expansion into other subjects. Science, English and history became focal points too, and the company has since grown to include a range of different services to suit the needs of its students. Alongside one-on-one private tutoring, students can enjoy weekly group sessions, holiday booster programmes and early-bird morning sessions, all tailored through AI technology that analyses a student's learning patterns and behaviours.
Of note, the company uses visual learning approaches after discovering that 70% of its students are visual learners. This exemplifies exactly why has the potential to expand its reach. There’s a huge market for personalised learning solutions, and Wonders of Maths’ hands-on, boutique approach is certainly turning heads.
