To accelerate transparency and empower sustainable decisions for businesses and individuals.
In recent years, customers (and governments, and investors) have grown tired of green-washing from companies and are demanding action on ecological and social targets, such as the emissions reductions required to meet the ambitious 2050 zero-carbon target. This has driven the growth of a number of firms aimed at delivering a true picture of a company's environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) impacts. Among these is Worldfavor, a Swedish startup working to improve the sustainability of corporate supply chains.
Worldfavor differentiates itself from other players in the space such as Vizibl with its broad focus, supplying a suite of reporting tools that can be used in cross-industry applications. Because carbon reporting requires specialised knowledge for each industry, this flexibility will allow for a greater oversight of the supply chain. In the end, Worldfavor doesn't see other supply chain tools as competitors - there is a vast amount of work to be done in this space and the companies are more likely to look for ways to collaborate than compete.
Worldfavor currently has over 25,000 corporate customers in 130 countries, and has recently concluded a Series A funding round to further fuel the company's growth. This money will be used to increase the data processing capacity of the product, to scale operations and to hire on additional talent.
