To provide energy asset developers with the information and tools they need to find locations with spare capacity and secure a grid connection.
The race to net zero is being slowed down by a problem most people never think about: grid congestion. As we build more solar panels, wind farms, EV chargers, and other clean tech, we're hitting a wall (literally). The electricity grid is overcrowded, and developers often can't find places to plug in. In fact, around 80% of grid connection requests get rejected, that's massive and holding back progress on clean energy.
Yottar is building a kind of "Google Maps" for the electricity grid, a digital twin of the energy system that shows developers exactly where there's space to connect new projects. Taking away the guesswork, this is huge for the future of clean energy.
The company's been busy building the first version of its platform, and it's already making waves. Big names like Tesla, the NHS, and Amazon AWS are already using Yottar to plan clean energy projects more quickly and effectively, and it's just raised significant funding too. This, coupled with its momentum and talent, puts Yottar in a prime position to rewire how we power the future.
