To broaden the range of possibilities for millions of European owners.
With interest rates rising rapidly, the house-buying market has become an increasingly risky investment for first-time owners and those looking to sell their properties. Zefir is an iBuyer platform that sells homes in roughly 72 hours from the offer, cutting out the arduous process that usually accompanies property purchases and which has seen wait times rise to more than 6 months.
Founded in 2020, Zefir may only be selling houses in Paris but the company follows a trend of similar iBuyers that dates back to the 2010s. As mortgage prices increase and wait times grow, those with the means and the urge to buy a new property quickly may find Zefir to be a handy tool for a faster trade.
Investors seem to think so too. In February 2022, Zefir raised significant funding which will enable it to expand their property list to other territories. This will be key as they compete against several companies in this space including Homeloop and the Italian leader in the market Casavo.
