Zeus Living's mission is to provide anyone with the ability to live comfortably, stylishly, and reliably.
27% employee growth in 12 months
Property management company Zeus Living is one of the many companies looking to fit themselves into the dependably growing US rental market. Backed by Airbnb, the company leases and manages pre-furnished properties to companies and students.
Zeus Living’s plans for US metropolitan expansion in 2019 were scuppered by COVID-19, followed by layoffs, a valuation nosedive, cancelled contracts, and disputes with landlords. They pivoted, however, to target customers either displaced or travelling for work over the pandemic, and added an online marketplace for third party listings, like Airbnb (who have subsequently made additional investment in the company). This astute move has helped the company get back to turning a profit, and could prove attractive for further investors looking to see the sector redefined post-pandemic.
Zeus Living weathered a rough storm, and its newly diversified set of offerings is likely to see it enjoy more success going forward. Certainly, it has demonstrated an agility and market sense that is likely to benefit it as the rental industry develops.
