Company mission

To create the world's best foundation model for turning sound into health insights, transforming preventative health monitoring.

Our take

Consumers across the globe have embraced health monitoring devices: from watches and rings to wearable CGMs and blood pressure monitors. auryx is a company targeting this enthusiasm for personal health data, with technology that turns earbuds into devices that can monitor the heart and lungs.

Founded by a team with extensive experience in wearable health tech, auryx leverages AI and machine learning to transform earbud microphones into continuous health monitors. It has focussed on earbuds not only because they are an existing (and very common) device, but also because the stability of the ears should mean high quality signals are possible even when wearers are active and in motion.

Because many other monitoring devices lose signal quality when the wearer is not at rest, this feature should help auryx's offering to stand out when it hits the market. So far, the company has raised strong pre-seed funding that supports the further development of its tech, as well as the building out of its team and integration with hardware partners.
