Our take
dnl is a company that produces software to analyse business reports and financial statements using artificial intelligence. Its products are used by banks, insurance companies, credit rating agencies and auditors.
By using AI software to uncover critical data, financial sector companies are able to better understand their customers, speed up turnaround times and reduce human error in their decision making. While there are a growing number of startups focused on AI analysis, dnl stands out with its human-in-the-loop processes which provides a greater level of transparency for its users and produces higher-quality output.
Founded in 2019 as a spin-off from the Berlin Institute of Technology, the company received strong early backing from Cannonball Capital and the European Regional Development Fund. This has allowed dnl to develop its products and grow its team, putting in on good footing for future success.
