Our take

Proemion builds products to digitise machinery, and offers a range of connectivity solutions to allow manufacturers to operate, monitor, and gather performance data on machines that they control remotely. Amongst its customers are major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) Liebherr, CLAAS, and KAISER.

Given its product focus, you’d be forgiven for assuming that Proemion is a disruptive industry 4.0 startup. This isn’t the case at all however, with the company dating back to 1987 and still remaining family-owned. It’s an impressive feat that it’s stayed ahead of the curve, and in its own way pioneered the digital evolution in its industry.

The company is showing no signs of complacency in a market that’s ripe with opportunity at the moment, and recently secured major growth funding as it looks to further expand internationally, despite already running offices in Germany, South Korea, and the US.
