Our take
Text is often taken for granted, but the ability to generate engaging copy is often out of the reach of companies. Writing product descriptions, marketing materials and blog articles is both time consuming and expensive to outsource. TextCortex was founded to solve this problem, using the latest natural language generation (NLG) technologies to automatically produce copy at a fraction of the time and cost of a human writer.
TextCortex's solution has so far been well-received, with excellent reviews on TrustPilot. It has seen applications in eCommerce as well as being used as a tool by students and writers to assist in preparing articles. However, there have been criticisms that the NLG technology is not quite mature enough to live up to the company's promises, and the articles generated by the engine require as much work to polish as it would take to write from scratch.
TextCortex completed a pre-seed funding round in 2022, led by btov Partners. It is using this investment to improve the technology, hire additional talent, and increase its user base. If it is able to overcome the current limitations of NLG AI, it stands to become a major player in the language AI space.
