Our take
The energy storage ecosystem has an important part to play in enabling renewably operated systems, and batteries play a key role in this ecosystem. However, many battery monitoring tools are not able to produce analysis quick enough, presenting issues for systems where the cost of failure is high.
Twaice provides predictive analytics software that optimises the operation of lithium-ion batteries, with applications for electric vehicles and green utilities. Its digital twin platform combines deep battery knowledge and AI to determine battery condition, and predict ageing and performance. This improves battery performance and supports the wider adoption of renewable energy sources and EVs.
Twaice has seen impressive investment which has helped it further optimise its cloud analytics platform, as well as expand operations in Europe and North America. The company has a strong client list, including more than five of the world’s leading OEMs, which is testament to the value of its offering.
